DAY CRUISE & LUNCH ON TRADITIONAL KERALA HOUSEBOAT – ALLEPPEY / KUMARAKOM

Around 10:30 AM pick up from the hotel and drive to Alleppey/Kumarakom (around 1-hour drive). Board a traditional Kerala houseboat from the Jetty and cruise along the serene backwaters of Alleppey/Kumarakom. The personal chef at houseboat will serve you exquisite Kerala style lunch on board. Evening after tea and snacks, by 17:00hrs disembark the houseboat at the same jetty and drive back to Cochin.

HALF DAY COCHIN HERITAGE TOUR

Around 10:00 AM, pick up the hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. In Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets at the beach are the main attractions. Walk through the "Heritage Zone"; the Fort Cochin area, where the Portuguese settled in the 16th century. In Mattancherry, visit the Palace of the Raja (Dutch Palace) and the Jewish Synagogue. Also, the Jew Street; the area around the Synagogue which is a centre of spice trade and curio shops. Around 13:00hrs, drive back to the hotel.

MOTOR BOAT CRUISE AT COCHIN BACKWATERS WITH LUNCH AT BOLGATTY PALACE

Pick up from the hotel at 10:00 AM and proceed to Marine Drive (around 30 min.s drive). Board an exclusive Motor Boat from the Jetty and cruise through Cochin harbor, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry, Fort Kochi, Vypin areas and disembark the boat at Bolgatty Palace for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred.

GURUVAYOOR TEMPLE AND ANAKKOTTA

Morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to Guruvayoor (around 3 hrs drive). On arrival, Darshan at the famous Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple, which is one of the five famous Krishna-Vishnu temples in India. Later drive to Punnathur kotta (anakkotta) which was once the palace of local ruler. Now the palace grounds are used to house the elephants belongs to the Guruvayoor Temple. The elephants here are ritual offerings made by the devotees of Lord Guruvayoorappa. These elephants are being trained here to serve Lord Krishna and to participate in the other temple festivals. Around 12:00 noon drive back from Guruvayoor. Enroute stop at Vedic Village, Kodungalloor for lunch. After lunch drive back your hotel.

KUMBALANGHI VILLAGE TOUR

Morning around 09:30 am pick up from the hotel and transfer to Kumbalanghi fishing village (around 30 min. drive). Board a country boat and cruise towards Kallancherry village at Kumbalangi Island. Visit crab and fish farm, watch coir yarn making, coconut leaves weaving, Chinese fishing nets etc. Have a traditional Kerala lunch and later drive back to the hotel.
