Kerala is a honeymooner’s paradise and we have chalked out an exclusive honeymoon itinerary for you. By this itinerary on the day of arrival, you will proceed to Munnar Hill station. After reaching Munnar town you will take a 6 kms off road Jeep ride through the misty hills and tea plantations to reach an exotic resort on top of a hill called “The Nature Zone”. Here the excitement is the stay on top of a tree in a “Tree House”. I am sure you will enjoy the stay at this nature’s paradise on the tree house. Next day you will check out from this resort and move to Munnar Town, visit the tea factory museum and after lunch check into another beautiful resort called Tall Trees. Stay 2 nights in Tall Trees and enjoy sightseeing of Munnar.

From Munnar you will drive to Kumarakom, here we have recommended “Coconut Lagoon” a beautiful Island resort right on the banks of the Vembanad lake. A short boat ride from the main land will take you to this exclusive resort with traditional Kerala architecture. Enjoy 2 nights stay at the Coconut Lagoon with a 2 hours Shikara ride as well. An Ayurvedic Massage at the Ayurvedic centre here will be a memorable experience for both of you.

After Kumarkom, you will drive down to South Kerala where you have the beautiful Kovalam Beach. You stay at the Vivanta by Taj Kovalam an exotic resort on a cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea. Enjoy stay near the beach and also a half day city tour of Trivandrum. You can visit the famous Padmanabha Swami temple here. You will depart from Trivandrum airport next day with sweet memories of your much awaited honeymoon trip to Kerala.

DAY 1: ARRIVE KOCHI – MUNNAR

Morning arrival at Kochi International airport, meet and assist by our representative and drive to Munnar hill station (around 3 ½ to 4-hour drive). En-route you will stop at Cheeyapara waterfalls for a short break.

Munnar is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, and it is a hill station - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquillity - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days.

Your vehicle will be parked in Munnar Town and will take an off-road Jeep ride around 6 kms through the tea plantations to reach an exotic nature resort called Nature Zone.

On arrival check into Nature Zone Resort and relax. Check into this exclusive resort on top of the hill. Enjoy the nature and stay in an exclusive “Tree House”.

DAY 2: MUNNAR

Early morning proceeds for a trek from the resort to Pallivasal Mottu one the peak point here. The view from here is an amazing experience.

Have your breakfast and around 11 AM, proceed to visit Tea Factory Museum in the town to see how tea is manufactured from Tea leaves. Then you will visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Factory museum.

Eravikulam National Park: A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. The Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq. km in the Rajamalai hills. Anamudi, the highest peak (2695 m) south of the Himalayas, towers over the sanctuary in majestic pride. The slopes of the hills abound in all kinds of rare flora and fauna. The Atlas moth, the largest of its kind in the world, is a unique inhabitant of the park. Other rare species of fauna found here are the Nilgiri Langur, the lion-tailed macaque, leopards, tigers, etc.

Also visit Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthianus): A flower with 40 odd varieties, blossoms in all its grandeur. Every twelve years, the hills of Munnar in Kerala burst into a sea of blue, a rare natural spectacle for travelers.

DAY 3: MUNNAR

Early morning after breakfast proceed to visit the Echo point, Mattupetty Dam.

Mattupetty Dam: It is a very beautiful picnic spot. You can take a walk on the dam and admire the beauty. The lake also has boating, and various kinds of pedal and motorboats are available for hire. If you are lucky then you can spot some elephants on the banks. There are lots of birds for bird watching enthusiasts.

DAY 4: MUNNAR - KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kumarakom (150 km/4 hrs.)

On arrival check in to the hotel and relax.

DAY 5: KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast and rest of the time is free for Leisure. Evening proceed for 2 hours Shikara ride through the backwaters of Kumarakom.

Shikara ride:  Shikara is a traditional motorized canoe with its roof covered. However, all the sides are open and there are cushioned seats to sit on. It is just a miniature form of houseboat. Make your way past rural fishing villages and lush jungle landscapes. Then continue cruising, passing by rice paddies, palm-lined canals, and churches.

Later transfer back to hotel.

DAY 6: KUMARAKOM – KOVALOM

Morning after breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kovalom (180 km/4 ½ hrs.).

Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.

The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them.

On arrival check in to the hotel and relax. rest of the time is free for leisure at hotel.

DAY 7: KOVALOM

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, Rest of the day is free to explore at beach.
