TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive at Kochi
Arrive at Kochi Airport and you would be transferred to your hotel. Freshen up and
proceed for Kochi sightseeing. Visit Fort Kochi and Mattancherry island, which consists
of Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, Famous Chinese
Fishing nets, St. Francis church and many more historic sites. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at Kochi.
Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (130 kms / 4 hours)
After breakfast, proceed to Munnar - Hill station and Palantion of Kerala - Overnight in
Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum. Later visit
Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden.
Overnight in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (95 kms / approx. 3 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar). Post check-in, proceed for sightseeing tour
of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National
Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of
the sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Later,
take a spice plantation tour.
Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady – Kumarakom (125 kms / approx. 3.5 hours)
After breakfast get transferred to Kumarakom. The fresh water of the lake flows into
the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of
the day exploring your beautiful resort of Kumarakom.
Overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 06: Kumarakom – Kovalam (180 kms / 5 hours)
This morning you experience Aymanam Village life of Kumarakom OR you can opt to
proceed Jatayu Earth Centre for adventure activities (Anyone). Later drive towards,
Kovalam which is internationally famed for its palm-fringed beaches and rejuvenating
centers. Upon arrival, check in at hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 07: Kovalam- Kanyakumari- Kovalam (Excursion)
Today, enjoy a full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the meeting point of
three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Visit the Kumari
Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore. Visit the famous
Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Also visit the Gandhi Memorial, built on the spot where
the urn containing the Mahatma's ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion.
Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum (Departure) (20 kms / 40 mins)
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing trip of Trivandrum. Visit the Napier
Museum, the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery and the Kuthiramalika Palace. You will be
transferred to Trivandrum airport/railway station for return back home.

- Monument Closure days:
Cochin - Jewish Synagogue closed on Friday/Saturday/Jewish Holidays
Cochin - Mattanchery Palace will be closed on Friday
Munnar - Eravikulam National Park will be closed in the month of February & March
Tata Tea Museum will be closed on Monday
Trivandrum on Monday and forenoon Wednesday
- Rooms in Munnar and Thekkady will be Non AC
- Trivandrum - Padmanabhaswamy Temple – Non-Indians are not allowed. Dress code
to enter at the temple is Dhoti for Men & Saree for Women
- Jatayu Earth centre has suspended online booking. So spot booking will be
subject to availability.
- Visit to Periyar Boating; private vehicles / taxi are not allowed. Guest have to use the
vehicle from forest department for the transfers.
- Traditional Kerala Lunch will be subject to availability.
- Package cost will not be valid from 20th December– 10th January.
- Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals,
exhibitions and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of
booking.
- This package is valid from 01st October 2024 to 31st March 2024 (Except from 20th
December 2024 – 10th January 2025).
