DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT COCHIN AIRPORT

Morning arrive Cochin International Airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will introduce our chauffer to you and proceed straight to hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free for your own activities.

Evening enjoy a Cultural show at Greenix Theatre showcasing the traditional art forms of Kerala like Kathakali, Mohiniyattam and Kalarippayattu. Later transfer back to hotel.

DAY 2: FORT COCHIN

Morning after breakfast proceed for a guided heritage walking tour of Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. You will visit St. Francis Church, walk along the heritage zone to beach, visit Chinese fishing nets, see the fish stalls etc.

Evening back to hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 3: KUMBALANGHI VILLAGE TOUR

Morning after breakfast at hotel transfer to Kumbalanghi fishing village (around 30 min. drive). Board a country boat and cruise towards Kallancherry village at Kumbalangi Island.  Visit crab and fish farm, watch coir yarn making, coconut leaves weaving, Chinese fishing nets etc. Have a traditional Kerala lunch and later drive back to the hotel.

DAY 4: COCHIN TO KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast at hotel transfer to Alleppey. on arrival check in to the beautiful backwater farm house- Philipkutty Farm House, kumarakom – another beautiful home stay.

DAY 5: KUMARAKOM

A chance to learn cooking with Anu and her mother at the “Philipkutty’s Farm House”.  Here in Kumarakom you are getting a chance to learn Central Travancore cuisines.   Spend a day with Anu/Mother to know more on cooking and relax on the banks of Vembanad Lake.

DAY 6: KUMARAKOM

Spend another relaxing day. Go for a farm walk with Anu and learn about farming below sea level and the different crops here. Do check out the toddy tapping here. You will also get a chance to see some rare species of butterflies.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

Morning after breakfast transfer to Cochin airport in time to take your flight for onward destination.
