DAY 1: ARRIVE – GANGTOK

On your arrival at Bagdogra airport meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok- “The Capital of Sikkim”. On arrival check in to your hotel and relax.

DAY 2: GANGTOK – SIGHTSEEING

Morning after breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13,200 ft.)

Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake located at an elevation of 3,753 m, the lake looks different at different seasons. In winter the placid lake remains frozen with the area around it covered in snow while in late spring the profusion of flowers in bloom adds a riot of colors around the lake.

DAY 3: GANGTOK – SIGHTSEEING - DARJEELING

After breakfast proceed to visit Enchey Monastery, approximately 200 years old. It belongs to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. The location was blessed by Lama Drupthob Karpo, a renowned exponent of tantric art adept in Buddhism with flying powers. It is believed that initially a small Gompa was established by him after which he flew from Maenam Hill in South Sikkim to this site. The literal meaning of ‘Enchey Monastery’ is ‘the solitary temple’.

Later visit Jhakri Waterfalls, the main attraction of the park is the waterfalls which cascades from a rocky height of almost 40 feet and plunges down with intense force. Around the waterfalls gardens have been beautifully landscaped and the place is further adorned with several statues of Ban Jhakri, Lyam Lymay, Mangpas and Lepcha ancestors. Later visit Handicraft Centre and Flower show.

Later transfer to Darjeeling. Check-in to your hotel on arrival.

DAY 4: DARJEELING – SIGHTSEEING

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) visit to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds third highest peak), on your way back we see Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering - Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee selfhelp Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Peace Pagoda. Evening free or can be spent at the mall (Chowrastha).

Overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 5: DARJEELING – SIGHTSEEING

Post breakfast take the departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
